Aaron Delago thanks firefighters by giving back

Approximately two years ago Aaron Delago’s father had his second heart attack. Orange County Firefighters from station 58 in Ladera Ranch responded to the call and within minutes they immediately knew what was wrong. Treatment was started and his father was on his way to a recovery.

“If it was not for their expertise and training I don’t think my dad would have been here today” Delgado said.

Therefore, Delgado, general manager of Audiotoyz, decided to donate the proceeds from their annual car show on October 3. The earnings were generated from the raffle drawings and donated to the Fallen Firefighter Relief Fund that is supported by OC Firefighters (OCPFA).

The OCPFA steps forward to aid their own or families who had a catastrophic lose or injury in the line-of-duty. The fund has donated more than $70,000 to families since it was established in 1998.

“I think that [firefighter relief fund] it is a great cause and I really admire what these guys do for us day in and day out” Delgado said.

Audiotoyz, specialist in home entertainment, attracted hundreds of people that received free food and drinks, an exhibition of 75-100 custom cars, a live DJ, and a jump-house for the little ones.

After the car show was over Mr. Delgado phoned up Steven Cook, OCPFA executive board member and handed $125 in support of his community.

“I thank them with all my heart, thank you station 58” Delgado said.
