I began my career in the fire service in 1991 with the Orange County Fire Department and I have held assignments at Stations 22, 39, 66, 5, 15, 51, and am currently assigned to Station 23 serving the City of Villa Park.

This is my first term as Secretary. Prior to being elected to this position I served three terms as a Director. My current responsibilities are twofold. As Chairperson of the Political Action Committee, I help evaluate and determine the Local's support for both candidates and legislative initiatives that will best represent firefighter's issues at the Local, State, and Federal levels. My goal is to maintain the current level of political activity that has enabled Local 3631 to become one of the most respected PAC's within the IAFF.

I also hold a position as a Board Member on the Orange County Employees Retirement System in order to maintain retirement benefits that will best accommodate our members.

Prior to being a firefighter I worked in the Finance Departments of two Fortune 400 aerospace firms working in both scheduling and financial management capacities. I hold a BA degree in Economics from the University of Southern California.
