Kenny Gabrielson has been in the fire service for almost 30 years. In 1979, his career started at the Los Alamitos AFRC fire department, then went to the city of Fullerton in 1980 as a fire fighter.  Two years later, Kenny moved on to work for the Westminster fire department and it was in 1995 when the Westminster department was absorbed into the OCFA.

He has taught in the Santa Ana College fire science program, in their fire academy, and since coming to the OCFA, has been assigned to E65, T17, E61, E46, currently working at station E64 C shift.

 While in Westminster Kenny served as an executive board member for Loca

l 2425 from 1985-1995, offering experience in both good and bad times.  Which he believes will be valuable in the up-coming months and possibly years.

"We will get through this! and I believe will become a stronger, better organization in doing so.  I have seen this department and this local become one of the best in the state. There is no reason why we can't be #1."
