Intern Brandon Matsui

Communications intern Brandon Matsui is a Public Relations major at Cal State University Fullerton. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Matsui always enjoyed writing, reporting and networking with others. Matsui writes and reports on stories for the OC Firefighters newsletter and website, and he also puts together member biographies and wiki terms.   Matsui hopes to one day work for Toyota or Honda in the Public Relations department. He spends his leisure time staying in shape, riding motocross and playing sports like basketball, golf, and tennis. Matsui decided to intern with OC Firefighters to enhance his public relations skills and said the internship offers him a chance to put into practice all aspects of his education and life’s calling.   “Why not start where I can do it all?” Matsui said.   Matsui enjoys helping others for a cause he believes worthy, and he admits that as much as one plans for the future, it’s hard to know what the future really holds.   “So here I am, as an intern for OC Firefighters, making a small difference in a big world,” Matsui said.
