Intern Adam Elmahrek

Mr. Adam Elmahrek was born in Los Angeles but grew up in Orange County. He graduated from California State University, Fullerton majoring in Communications with an emphasis in journalism. In addition, his fascination in politics led him to a minor in Political Science. Adam has joined OC Firefighters (OCPFA) as an intern in the Summer of 09 and is currently producing articles, definitions of terms, calendars, and public service announcements. He is also working part time as a staff writer for Defy magazine where he published an article about Robert De Niro and the male ego. Furthermore, he also works part time at Cox Communications in the sales department. Adam is working with OCPFA to gather experience and to try something different working close with executive board members, firefighters, and other staff members. “I like to work with unions one day in the future” Elmahrek said.
