By-Laws Article V Section 3M. Safety Committee

The Safety Committee facilitates Local participation in the Orange County Fire Authority Safety and Occupational Health Committee and in matters relating to the safety and working conditions of members including, but not limited to: worker safety legislation, equipment, operational procedures, and system delivery models.

Special Events Committee

The Special Events Committee is responsible for fostering positive relationships with Local membership and the community at large by hosting events and functions that will increase membership participation in the Local and focus attention on charitable causes.

Wellness Fitness Committee (WEFIT)

The Wellness Fitness Committee facilitates Local participation in and/or liaison with the Orange County Fire Authority Wellness Fitness (WEFIT) Oversight Committee, the IAFF/IAFC Joint Labor-Management Wellness-Fitness Initiative (Initiative), and in matters relating to the wellness of members including, but not limited to: worker wellness legislation, exercise equipment, operational procedures, and fitness programs.
