Aaron Delago thanks firefighters by giving back

Approximately two years ago Aaron Delago’s father had his second heart attack. Orange County Firefighters from station 58 in Ladera Ranch responded to the call and within minutes they immediately knew what was wrong. Treatment was started and his father was on his way to a recovery.

“If it was not for their expertise and training I don’t think my dad would have been here today” Delgado said.

Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) officers rally to aid one of their own

Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) hosted a fundraiser on October 13, benefiting Katherine Litchfield, who was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Carcinoid cancer in October 2007. “It is support at a level that I have never received before and I am very grateful for everything that has been done for me” Litchfield said. Chief Keith Richter, Deputy Chief McIntosh, Fire Captain Greg Mckeown, is just to name a few people that participated in this event among other employees from OCFA. Participants had a premium to shave their heads in order to raise money for a worthy cause.

Orange County Firefighter and Deputy Sheriffs join forces for a good cause

Everyday, firefighters and deputy sheriffs put their lives on the line so their community can be safe and in some cases, catastrophic incidents occur. Therefore, on Sept. 27 Orange County Firefighters and Deputy Sheriffs hosted an event that benefits fallen peace officers, firefighters, and their families, which they call Cruisin’ for the Good Life.
